Some days I want to row this boat into the river

Ebb and flow, and throw myself into the sea

Stand out in the snow until I start to shiver

Hold my heavy breath until my soul feels clean

I don’t know,

I can’t see

Where this goes

Maybe it’s not for me

To say this time

Some days I want to run away into the forest

Build a little house off-grid, just you and me

Or fly right off this rock and join the angel chorus

Drive into the sun until my soul feels clean
